Who may bet
Adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to bet. Age is confirmed through KYC with your Kenyan National ID, and accounts opened by minors are closed.
Do not bet on behalf of anyone else, and never let children use your phone, account or M-Pesa for betting.
Healthy betting habits
- Treat every stake as the cost of entertainment, not as an investment.
- Fix a weekly amount and keep it separate from money for rent, food, fees and loans.
- Set a time limit for each session and stop when it ends.
- Accept losses. Raising stakes to win them back is the fastest way to lose more.
- Never borrow, use mobile loans or pawn possessions to fund bets.
- Keep days in the week that are completely betting-free.
Signs that betting is becoming a problem
Take a step back if you recognise several of these patterns:
- Betting takes more of your money or time than you intended.
- You feel you need bigger bets to get the same excitement.
- You hide betting from family or lie about losses.
- You borrow or take loans to keep playing or to cover losses.
- You feel anxious, low or irritable when you are not betting.
- Work, study, sleep or relationships are suffering.
Limits and self-exclusion at LuckyBet
LuckyBet provides three responsible gaming tools. Activate them in your account settings or ask support through WhatsApp or live chat.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Deposit limits | Caps the amount you can deposit in a chosen period. |
| Session reminders | Shows how long you have been playing. |
| Self-exclusion | Pauses your account for a period you select. |
Choose your limits before you start playing. Decisions made in advance are easier to keep than decisions made in the heat of a session.
Bonuses without pressure
Bonus offers come with conditions. The LuckyBet welcome bonus, for example, requires x5 wagering on accumulators with odds of 1.80 or higher and locks your balance until the requirement is met. Only accept a bonus if its terms fit your normal budget, and never raise your stakes just to complete wagering.
